Pranayama is the science of the yoga breath. Prana has been described as a subtle
invisible force, the life-force that pervades the body. In this class we will explore
the
historical and physical effects of pranayama and we will practice several
different breathing techniques from the most basic to more advanced forms.

Balance Your Body Recuperative Yoga is a visionary program
that goes beyond basic yoga instruction and focuses on a level of teaching that will
give the participant a capacity for understanding what the body needs and how to
create appropriate recuperative yoga to enhance health.
The goal of Recuperative Yoga is to create an appropriate level of yoga for any student,
ranging from those with significant
physical limitations to top athletes. The program incorporates the latest scientific

The key to flexibility is strength. Yoga Core and Strength incorporates exercises
from many disciplines including
yoga, pilates, weight training and tai chi. It uses many different props which are all
easily attainable for home use and also are typically found within most gym environments.

Yoga Intensives
The BYB Pink Ribbon Recuperative Yoga Intensive is an interactive,
two-day, 12 hour course designed
to share essential knowledge and information that is fundamental to the successful
evaluation and rehabilitation of the breast cancer survivor.
The center of training will
be the balance of body, mind and spirit, utilizing knowledge of anatomy and the integration
of information from the areas of functional exercise, shoulder rehabilitation, recuperative

an open heart and who would like to offer a healing path for breast cancer survivors.

Anatomy Immersion of the Spine is an , interactive 6 hour course
designed to share essential knowledge and information of anatomy and assessment, yoga
asanas and muscle balancing recuperative techniques.
In this training, you will immerse yourself in the anatomy of the spine, focusing
on the bone structure, muscle attachments, tendons and ligaments. Learn how to develop
optimal spinal posture and avoid injury in headstand, shoulder stand, back-bends,
