Modern Hatha Yoga Philosophy

The original thoughts that formed the first yoga are very different from our thougths on it today. How is yoga different now than when it was first created?

In this class we will explore the concepts that allow yoga to be as beneficial in the modern world as it was in the world of its creators.

We will also talk about the most current influences on yoga culture and how that is changing the face of yoga today.

  • Attend just the lecture portion of the class (12:30pm - 3pm).
  • Attend the 11:30 Gentle Yoga class and then the following lecture until 3pm.
  • Attend 9am Beginning/Intermediate yoga and then 11:30 Gentle Yoga followed by the lecture through 3pm.
