Amy began teaching yoga in the 90's, drawing on a teaching background of pilates, fitness, dance and athletics. Her pursuit of knowledge about the human body and human performance have lead her to study different yoga styles, fitness programs and healing techniques as well as extensive studies in human anatomy and physiology.
About herself, Amy says: "I am a yoga instructor, writer and wellness enthusiast. Ultimately, my work is about helping people feel amazingly healthy and encouraging the discovery of one's potential through yoga, because I believe in the transformative power of self-care, mindfulness, and an occasional cup of hot chocolate."
With Amy's compassionate guidance and enthusiasm, students learn to adapt poses and exercises in order to teach yoga from a safe, intelligent and well-laid foundation. She is an international instructor and has taught classes in Europe as well as the United States.
